How right is that Chinese Proverb?

“Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand”

Wow this is a relevant proverb for marketers and teachers alike!

Marketers stop telling and sending messages! Of course trials and test drives work better than sending messages. However the ultimate is to get customers/consumers involved in the process, co-create the service and gain ownership of the brand.

Teachers stop lecturing! At least showing and demonstrating is better than lecturing. However the ultimate, is to get the students involved and actually doing the work and learning from their mistakes, at the same time as giving them a helping hand in the right direction.
